I can go into details telling why, as an Iranian woman, I did not like this book and I WILL

Just like her other books, Kamali still insists on communism's acts were not anything so bad and people got tricked, and they were uneducated? It feels like trying to get rid of some guilt. Well, too little too late...

I also do not understand the point of this story completey
yes, it did talk about a glimpse of our everyday life in Iran, but This book wanted so badly to show the hardship we are facing in our country right now. But I think it failed. She mostly described how the government won and came to power, with killing innocents and lying. However, that was decades ago... we are still fighting that same government..

She goes into details about how king's guards were cruel and brutal, but she only briefly mentions the true story behind Cinema Rex's tragedy that was caused by the revolutionaries themselves. she doesn't talk about their raping and setting girls on fire and executions...why?

when you see the women screaming in Iran for their rights, please remember, that the force and fury of our screams have been gathering power for years.
If you are not an Iranian, you will probably enjoy this book so much, it gives a good example of how people can make horrible mistakes and tell you how Iran became what it is today.
But, I am sure this book was not written for Iranian people, it was not written to show our true pain. and is disappointed me so much
Nowadays, all of us are Homa, every single day.
