روایتی در مورد زبیده خاتون همسر هارون الرشید و 6 بانوی مومن دیگر که امام صادق در روایتی آنان را بعنوان افراد برگزیده برای زمانی خاص معرفی کرده اند. در کتاب ماجراهای این 7 نفر را به طور کلی میخوانیم و با آنان آشنا میشویم. سوژه و ایده اولیه، جذاب و زیباست اما داستان پرداخت متوسطی دارد و برخی قسمت ها انگار مشغول خواندن کتابی تاریخی هستیم تا یک داستان و ماجراها پشت سر هم بدون حواشی و فضاسازی و خرده روایت ها، بیان می شوند. البته از این جهت که کتاب باعث آشنایی مخاطبین با زنان مومن کمتر شناخته شده در تاریخ تشیع و حتی دوران پیش از اسلام میشود، اثر خوب و ارزشمندی است.
