گئورگ ابرس مصرشناس و رمان‌نویس اهل آلمان است و بیشتر به خاطر «پاپیروس ابرس» شناخته می‌شود که یکی از کهن‌ترین اسناد پزشکی-دارویی جهان است. بیشتر آثار او به زبان آلمانی است و از این میان تنها یکی به زبان فارسی ترجمه شده است؛ رمان تاریخی «کمبوجیه و دختر فرعون» است که به نام «کمبوجیه در آشوب قتل بردیا» نیز چاپ می‌شود.
