        The main idea of the book is about the periodic table; as the author said” an anthropological marvel, a human artifact that reflects all of the wonderful and artful and ugly aspects of human beings and how we interact with the physical world”. We could say it is the history of our ancestors written in a fully compressed and impressive way. 

The fascinating feature about the book is that the elements have been analyzed by moving forward in complexity with stories that never you could see in any textbooks. From hydrogen at the top left and man-made elements at the bottom right,  you could explore bombs, money love, politics, and history. 

 I would recommend this book for readers with a general interest in science, engineering.
