When I don't remember ever reading something like this. It was indeed magical but in quite a different sense. 

It was so good to read about the Roux family's history and what had happened to them. Then follow that journey to get to Ava. The Girl with Wings. 

I was really sorry for the members of the house because I feel like they deserved more than what they got. They were loved but chose to ignore them or not to see them, most of all Gabe and Henry.

I absolutely loved all the characters, none were perfect but made a perfect story together. 

Oh and the ending... it truly broke me :(
