        "Bury my bones in the midnight soil, plant them shallow and water them deep, and in my place will grow a feral rose, soft red petals hiding sharp white teeth."
I admit I had some problems getting through this book. after the first half, I finally could understand it isn't about the plot, it is mostly about the characters and the vibes.
the story of these 3 people gets connected perfectly fine and the characters are perfectly written. 
But still, I expected the plot to be more complicated or better. 
anyway, this is the best piece of vampire fiction that I have come across.
