When I got to this book I wasn't expecting much since I just picked it up since my friend suggested it. I never thought I would finish it so fast and that  I would love it so much. 

If you love dark atmospheric fantasy that romance is not the main plot this book is for you. 

It's definitely one of my favorite books. I loved the characters, the unique magic system and also the world-building. 

The story follows our main character, Elspeth Spindle,  who has a big secret that if it ever becomes uncovered her life will end. While trying to maintain her normal life in the shadows she comes across people who will change her life forever and this encounter also changes them. 

I can definitely see why it got the hype on social media and I say it's well-deserved.
