        For the review of this book I just want to copy the note that I wrote to my friend who gave this book to me, I think it would be the most appropriate:
It is 5:18 in the morning and I just finished reading "the book thief"
These last pages, the last 100 pages, they made me cry for almost an hour.
Even though it was without any doubt one of the most beautiful stories that I have ever read it reminded me one more time that we humans can be so brutal, so much that the words of death can make me cry for an hour but not the words of someone like Hitler.
I wish I could write as well as the book thief herself to tell you how I am grateful for this book, and these beautiful words that you gave me.
