        I didn't find anything interesting in the book, subject was something repeated many times, and the story line was so boring, I think that this book attracted this much attention just because an African-American woman is its hero. 
In this regard, if you want to read a more amusing and informative book on the subject, I suggest "Empire of Cotton", a true story and more attractive.
