        WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? this book somehow managed to be the worst piece of fiction I've ever encountered. the plot is awful, the character's decisions make no sense, plot twists are shit, and quite literally everything sucks. 
Violet is somehow always in danger but every character out of nowhere manages to help her. 
How can a character be good at everything? like LITERALLY EVERYTHING. it is frustrating to see that the main character gets her way anyhow through plot points. like how can everything be at her advantage?
the author made us believe that someone bound to rules can turn into a rebellious person in mere seconds and kill his professor. yeah sure.
wat the hell is this dynamic between Violet and Xaden? the whole thing about keeping secrets and stuff did not make any sense and it was continued until the end. you are in the middle of a war and you start a childish approach toward each other? am i supposed to take you seriously? 
if you plan to read this one, just don't.
